Useful Links for New Players and Old

Awhile back there was a thread in GD on useful links for new players. Unfortunately I could not find this page

Instead, I thought I'd attempt to recreate it. If there are other great links that you use, you are welcome to share, and I will update this post accordingly. Make sure to check back occasionally for new updates!

General Reference:

KOL Wiki
- General KOL spoiler guide detailing almost every aspect of the game.

Coldfront Marketplace
-A website dedicated to the buying / selling of items in the mall. Great for market research.

JickenWings
-A useful website for viewing public collections.

KOL Database
-Details all character's ascension records with descriptions of path, days, turns, and familiar usage.

The Well-Tempered Anvil
-Provides information regarding item pulverizing

Skill Checker
-Allows quick comparison of skills for yourself or to share with others.

Optimal Leveling
-Shows information regarding best leveling areas based upon your skills, buffs, and familiar.

Attack Familiar Damage / Weight Chart
-A cool visual representation of which attack familiar yields the greatest damage per lb.

The BarKol Test
-Find out what type of player are you! Heart, Spade, Diamond, or Club!

Bank of KOL
-A user created bank. Has received considerable praise from the playerbase, and is generally considered trustworthy.

Familiar Arena Strength
-A quick guide to familiar arena strengths

KOL Optimal Diets
-Provides a quick breakdown for maximizing cost / adventures / food ingredients to get the most adventures per day

-Excellent for both SC and HC play. Details the use of many IOTM and Familiars.

The Noblesse Oblige Buffbot
-Another great buffbot, very speedy.

WadBot (#1666580)
-Makes Wads. Faster than doing it yourself.

Sellbot (#1053259)
- An automated selling bot. After opening a trading account with the bot, players can send it items by KMail and the bot will sell them either in the Mall or The Flea Market. Sellbot takes a cut of the profits, including any applicable listing prices from the Flea Market. Much of the interaction with sellbot is via chat, including a free pricing service, which keeps track of recent mall price ranges. For assistance, see sellbot's profile or Display Case.

kBay (#1430540)
-A bot that runs auctions via kmail, with a website listing current auctions in an eBay style. See kBay's profile for a link to instructions.

Thanks for posting this. A lot of stuff here is not only must-read, but it should be a regular part of your KoL diet. For example, I probably hit the Wiki 10-20 times per day for reference.

Excellent list. I'd been looking fruitlessly for several of the resources on the list, including a few I didn't know I was looking for.

Another good "Gameplay Guide" is Salticid's Bad Moon guide, found here. I've only just started using it, but after skimming it, it appears to cover everything one will need to know for a BM run.
