Request For Any HC Advise

Ok, I don't just want to lay all this hardcore stuff at Foxy Boxy's feet so I am putting out a general request to any forumites who do HC to dump any information in this forum that you may have. It doesn't matter how simple it is, it will be useful. Being as I have just started my own HC run, I need all of your guys help to get me through this.
I also want this forum to contain information on pathed HC runs (HCO etc.), bad moon runs and kitty runs.
Please, please help with this because for the ones of us who are HC virgins will be relying on it
